Lochaber U17 and Kinlochshiel U17 Reach 2012 London Shield Final

Lochaber U17 and Kinlochshiel U17 will meet in the 2012 London Shield Final at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 20 October 2012.
The semi-final ties took place at An Aird on Saturday 22 September 2012.
Oban Celtic 0 Lochaber 2
First up was the noon meeting between Oban Celtic and Lochaber, refereed by John Matheson. The match was goalless at the interval but Lochaber took the lead on 51 minutes thanks to a Finlay MacDonald strike. Duncan MacKinnon added a second 10 minutes from time to seal a 2-0 win for the Spean Bridge youngsters.
Kingussie 4 Kinlochshiel 7 (after extra-time)
Later in the afternoon, doubles from Bob MacGregor and Alasdair Nixon saw Kingussie and Kinlochshiel tied at 2-2. However ‘Shiel went 4-2 up thanks to a Conall Fraser strike and a third from Nixon to complete his hat-trick. However Kingussie’s Bob MacGregor completed his hat-trick to make it 4-3 and a Savio Genini goal made it 4-4 and took the tie into an extra-time period. Conall Fraser went on to complete his hat-trick and Aedan MacRae got the other as Kinlochshiel eventually ran out 7-4 winners. Ronnie Campbell was the match referee.
